"Yo! Bang!" music live broadcast with Avid VENUE | S6L
" Yo! Bang!" is a music chart launched by TME Tencent Music Group to reflect the popularity of new songs in the Chinese music scene. The list data is generated by users of QQ Music, Kugou Music, and Kuwo Music. In addition to the audio source playback, it also counts song collection, cache, sharing, MV playback, digital album sales and other data. The show will be broadcast live on QQ Music and Kugou Music at 8 PM every Sunday from October 14, 2018. The live tuner is Lin Zhemin, a well-known sound engineer and tuner from Taiwan. He uses SSL L500Plus and L100 digital mixers. The stronger processing capability of L500Plus makes it easy to process and integrate sound signals from all directions here. At the same time of each live broadcast, the L500 will also output to the computer for recording through MADI, and this only requires one button to easily complete the signal routing.
The entire OB room looks very much like a recording studio. As a post-processing on the broadcast side, some additional hardware devices are used for bus processing. SSL provides Analog, AES/EBU, BNC MADI, SC Optical MADI, Dante And other interface formats allow various peripheral devices to be easily connected to the mixer.
