The appearance of the SSL L200 is designed with a very ergonomic inverted T-shaped panel. The upper part is a large touch screen. Basically all functions need to be operated on the touch screen. What surprised me was that the response speed of the operating system was faster than I thought. The medium is much more sensitive, and there is no muddy feeling in use.

On the right side of the screen is a whole panel of physical buttons, such as custom shortcut keys, Talk/Mon control module, Automation and other modules, which can more conveniently control the most commonly used auxiliary functions in the performance. Below is the master fader module. The L200 has three groups of fader modules, one group has 12 faders, and it is easy to customize the channel corresponding to each fader page.
 

There is a very special button on the fader of the L200, which is the Super-Q (fast routing) function introduced by the SSL Live series. By long pressing or short pressing, some routing functions such as observing channel relationships and sending routing can be realized; You can easily handle the routing situation of each channel by using the Super-Q button.

In the past every show up show planned, I used to record the sub-tracks for later mixing for other uses. L200's sub-track recording is very convenient. You only need to connect a network cable to use the L200's own Dante network to perform sub-track recording on the computer's DAW.

For live pickup, we connect all the instruments and microphones directly to the L200 through the SSL interface box based on MADI signals. With the patented SuperAnalogue™ technology, the audio amplifier and ADDA can directly feel what is not available on other digital mixers. The feel of analog audio signals makes all sounds more natural, while maintaining a clean sound while maintaining the dynamics and response that traditional analog mixers have.

At present, the L200 supports up to 144 sound paths, and they are all full-featured. This is also a function that most mixers do not have; the Stem function almost replaces the complicated steps of the traditional FX Send and Return. Stem can be used as a sending channel and The return channel only needs to hang the effector on the Stem channel, you can directly control the sending and returning of the effector, achieving a lower resource occupancy rate.

Automation is also one of the functions that I find particularly convenient when I use it. With the function of Auto Store, when you move a button and every fader, it can automatically save it for you, and when the scene changes, there is nothing The sense of procrastination can only be said that technology makes people lazy.
