Located in the 70^th floor of Chongqing World Financial Center at an altitude of 590 meters, Wings club can have a 360 degree panoramic view of the beautiful night of Chongqing from above.
 
Walking into Wings is like walking in the clouds. With the effect of transparency and reflection, the glass expands the horizon of the whole space. The starry sky outside the window, with a hint of mystery and laziness, softened the coldness of the space. The deep and shallow light and shadow shape the sculptural sense of space.
 
The place is called as the highest entertainment space in west China. World Show interviewed Jason.c, Wings' brand music director, to find out why do they choose to operate a bar in a golden zone like the World Financial Center and to explore the mysterious veil of this “club in the sky”.
 
"Chongqing is a core city in the western region that integrates commerce, art, fashion and tourism, but there was no such landmark space, where you can not only enjoy Chongqing's river views, but also enjoy wine and music.
 
Wings club is located in the golden zone of international super-grade office buildings, high-end luxury hotels, and international famous shopping malls. This area also runs through the observation deck of the Huixian Tower. Investing in bars here is a practice that hopes to break Chongqing’s entertainment space and let guests better experience the culture of Chongqing. " says Jason.c, music director of the Wings.
 

"The only difference between Wings and other clubs is that there is no Hardstyle music here, but pure House Music." Jason.c, who worked DJ, became talkative when it came to music.
 
"Although the top 100 DJs, large music parties, and electronic music elements are very popular in most of the clubs, but I believe the Chinese music market will return to the original state, to the era of house music. The real trend is not to look at what is popular currently, but to look at what the next generation of young people like. There are very few clubs in China that do pure house music, and we hope to make Wings the only high-end pure house music style club in the west of China."
 
Wings began preparations in mid-2017. With a total investment of over 30 million RMB, the club has a 2 floors, and a total area of 2,000 square meters. The lobby contains 32 car seats, six VIP rooms, and professional-grade bar tables. For such a high-end club that focuses on house music, the sound is like the core engine.
 

"The core of Wings is music, and the second is the 360° viewing glass, so the requirements for sound are very high. How to design an audio system that meets Wings positioning and can meet the requirements of the venue is big challenge."
 

"My first impression on Clair Brothers was a large club in Chengdu. It has a tight surround feel and strong energy. Even after listening for a long time, I will not feel ear fatigue. House music has very high requirements on low frequency because they use a lot of bass and drums. After knowing the special requirement of the venue, the head of Guangzhou EGG Technology Co., Ltd.  was confident that he could design a solution that satisfied me, so Wings finally adopted the Clair Brothers system."
 

4 Clair Brothers kiT CURVE12 arrays are flied on each side of the stage cover the front area. The kiTCurve is a single 12-inch curveed array with a 15-degree coverage angle. Though the space of Wings is limited, the system do not need to be hung very high. The sound in the venue is very clean by only keeping them in the rated throw distance.
  
A total of 8 Clair Brothers FF2-HX full-range speakers were used to cover the car seats. Two CS-218 dual 18-inch and eight kiT Sub single 18-inch subwoofers were placed in front of the stage and in the VIP area and in the back area of the club. The CS218 can reach to very low frequency. While kiT Subs are used in the area where space is very limited. All speakers are driven by Clair Brothers FP14000 amplifiers.
 
Wings has a total of 6 VIP rooms. Each private room used 2 KIT12 as the main system, and 1AM coaxial speakers to complement. Subwoofers are CS18-II.
 
 

"I haven not seen any clubs that would use all Clair Brothers speaker to equip their VIP rooms. As a DJ, this is also the first time I listen to the sound of Clair Brothers in the VIP room, which blow my mind. Clair Brothers can deliver even and uniform sound coverage regardless of whether it is a wooden floor or marble reflection, and the bass is also very powerful," says Jason.c.
