The new campus of Beijing Film Academy is located in Huairou District, Beijing. With the concept of "innovation, coordination, green, openness, and sharing", it provides students with an excellent environment for reading sage books and shooting fine works.

 
Digital Media Technology(DMT) built audio system for the new campus of Beijing Film Academy together with system integrator Zhejiang Dafeng, which include a 1,200-seat theater, a 400-seat black box multifunctional theater, and a post-production and broadcasting room. All three systems use AoIP as core architecture, where audio signals can be connected and transmitted internally.

 

On the afternoon of September 26, 2021, Cai Qi, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the Beijing CPC Municipal Committee, came to the Huairou Campus to inspect and investigate. Cai visited educational and living places like the 1200-seats theater, black box theater, library and dormitory and affirmed the planning and design plan, construction quality and beautiful environment of the new campus. He also congratulated the opening of the new campus, and gave some guidance on the positioning of the new and old campuses and highly appraised the academy’s heritage and educational achievements.

The console is from Solid State Logic Live series. The British brand is a legend in the recording studio, and brought the sound quality of the recording studio to live sound reinforcement by using SuperAnologue mic amp technology.

The loudspeaker system uses the first-tier brand Clair Brothers from the United States. The brand has been popular all over the world for many years. The founders Roy and Gene Clair began to work in the touring market in1966. For over 40 years, Clair Brothers provided sound systems to famous artists like Elvis, Queen, Elton John, Michael Jackson, U2 and some of the world’s largest music festivals.

Wiress microphone system is from the famous German brand Sennheiser. Its 6000 series is a product that has been widely acclaimed for many years and is popular in current concerts and TV stations. Its stability and sound quality have a good reputation in the market.

For wired microphones, DPA microphones from Denmark were chosen. As one of the first manufacturers to develop miniature microphones, the originality and innovation of DPA microphones swept the entire live sound industry. DPA’s miniature microphones are ready for different creative expressions from musical to drama.

The 1,200-seat theater can meet the needs of large-scale theatrical performances, dramas, operas, musicals, lectures and large-scale student events. Audio system equipment includes: SSL Live series console, Clair Brothers loudspeakers, DPA microphones and Sennheiser 6000 series wireless microphone systems.

The 400-seat black box multifunctional theater located can meet the needs of theatrical performances, dramas, operas, musicals, lectures and other student events. Audio system equipment includes: SSL Live series console, Clair Brothers loudspeakers, DPA microphone and Sennheiser 5000 series wireless microphone.

The post-production and broadcasting room put digitization and networking as the core. Files can be interacted here, which fully guarantees the lossless transmission of audio signals and the convenience of content production, and can broadcast and record audio signals from the big theater and black box theater in real time. This audio system in the room uses Genelec DSP speakers to build the most popular Dolby Atmos system.
